About this route
Pico Cão Grande (big dog) is a 663m volcanic plug in the middle of the São Tomé jungle. It isn’t very approachable but we decided we’re going to touch it. A few kilometers away from the thing and with half of the bikes scattered along the muddy roads behind us, we left them in the jungle and hiked the last bit up towards a successful mission.
